Eastern Effects is making waves in New Jersey's burgeoning film and television landscape! Since the launch of the New Jersey Film and Digital Media Tax Credit Program in late 2018, the state has seen an impressive boom in soundstage construction, attracting numerous productions that previously struggled to find space in New York.

Interviewed for a recent Variety piece, Scott Levy, founder of Eastern Effects, highlighted the advantages of operating in New Jersey, stating, "We moved Eastern Effects to New Jersey to capitalize on the much better cost of operating in New Jersey as a business. Every type of service we have used has been less expensive than in New York." He emphasizes that the growth of soundstages and studios will draw more productions and full-time workers, creating significant economic benefits for the state.
