Last Thursday, the crew at Eastern Effects, including founders Scott Levy and Chris Hayes, gathered at Brooklyn Workforce Innovations’ 25th Anniversary celebration to honor our milestone of over 25 years in the Film & TV industry. The event also celebrated BWI’s 25 years of dedication to supporting underserved communities in NYC through workforce development programs, including the Made in New York Production Assistant program. The evening was vibrant, filled with an incredible group of elected officials, city agencies, and industry friends coming together to recognize this significant achievement.
For over a decade, Eastern Effects has been honored to partner with BWI’s “Made in NY” Production Assistant Training Program, providing aspiring filmmakers with hands-on learning experiences, equipment house tours, and valuable career opportunities in the industry.
We are immensely grateful for the recognition of Eastern Effects’ successes, our dedicated team, and our contributions to the community. We look forward to many more years of collaboration and support!
