Summary:
Seasonal staff are an integral part of the busy season at Eastern Effects. If you are looking for full time employment now through December, and are interested in working with lighting and grip equipment on the supply side of the film and television industry, you could be the person for us!

POSITION INFORMATION:
POSITION 1 / Equipment Restock & Check-in
Schedule: 8:30am – 4:30pm, Monday – Friday
Start/end date *MUST BE ABLE TO WORK FULL TIME FOR 26 WEEKS
- First available start date: July 1
- Latest end date: December 20
POSITION 2 / Equipment Restock & Checkout
Schedule: 10:00am – 6pm, Monday – Friday
Start/end date *MUST BE ABLE TO WORK FULL TIME FOR 26 WEEKS
- First available start date: July 1
- Latest end date: December 20
WAGE & BENEFITS:
- $18 an hour
- Over time, paid daily over 8 hours

JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
POSITION 1 / Equipment Restock & Check-in
Job Functions
-Restock and shelving of rental equipment to its proper 1st floor warehouse location
- Ensure gear presentation by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, assembly and storage
-Assist staff with customer equipment orders for check-in
- Utilize company inventory control software to account for returned inventory
- Scanning of single-component inventory such as cable, flags & nets, stands, and grip hardware
-Assist basic quality assurance measures to ensure equipment functionality & presentation
-Transport equipment packages between warehouse floors and designated restock staging areas
-Assist Shipping & Receiving with the transport of equipment between loading bays and 1st floor staging areas
-General cleaning and upkeep of equipment inventory and warehouse facility
Required Experience / Skills
- 1-2 years’ experience with motion picture lighting and grip equipment, basic knowledge
- Excellent communication skills (written/verbal)
- Teamwork skills
- Detail oriented – commitment to quality
- Basic Computer Skills
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform physical tasks on a constant basis.
- Ability to regularly lift, lower, push all manner of equipment in excess of 50 pounds.
- Ability to remain standing for an extended period of time.
POSITION 2 / Equipment Restock & Checkout

-Assist staff with customer equipment orders for check-out
- Preparation and staging of electrical distribution and grip equipment
- Utilize company inventory control software to ensure order accuracy
-Transport equipment packages between warehouse floors and designated check out staging areas
-Assist with the receipt of equipment returns and transport of equipment between loading bays and return floor
-General cleaning and upkeep of equipment inventory and warehouse facility
Required Experience / Skills
